Preparing our building for colder weather and the years ahead
TCA has completed an overhaul of one boiler serving the gym side of the building, and work is underway on the second. These improvements build on our investment in the property since its purchase and will strengthen the resilience of the building’s heating system.
We are also assessing the operation of univent heaters and baseboard heating throughout the building to identify where attention is needed and support comfort as colder weather approaches.
Together, this work supports a warmer, more dependable learning environment and reflects our commitment to caring for the building for the years ahead.

A window into your child’s learning
TCA classrooms shared 181 new student posts on Seesaw during October 18–25. The week’s activity included science, STEM, library and technology, and Islamic Studies, giving families a window into learning across the school.
Families are encouraged to visit their child’s Seesaw journal and talk together about the work being shared. If you need help connecting to your child’s journal, contact the classroom teacher for a family invitation or connection guidance.

Celebrating progress in mathematics
Students in Grades 1 and 3 recently earned XtraMath certificates recognizing milestones in addition, multiplication and division fact fluency.
These achievements reflect practice and progress in foundational math skills. We congratulate our learners on their effort and encourage families to celebrate the steps their children are taking.

Opening TCA’s doors to more children
TCA has approved a pilot introducing an additional reduced-tuition tier to help more children in our community benefit from a TCA education. Shaped by conversations with families, the pilot aims to make enrollment more affordable while sustaining the quality of our school. If participation makes the pilot successful and sustainable, we intend to extend the new tier to qualifying families already enrolled at TCA. Eligibility requires an application and supporting documentation.

A stronger network behind everyday learning
TCA now has two internet connections and a paired backup firewall, alongside recent Wi-Fi improvements. This added resilience reduces reliance on a single connection or firewall and supports more dependable access to classroom apps and online learning. For families, the benefit is a school better equipped to keep digital lessons and everyday services running when a network problem occurs.

A website that fits the screen
The school website now adapts to smaller screens, making school information easier to browse on a phone. The homepage and Our Team page were checked after the site-wide update; staff photographs now appear in color so families can more easily recognize the people supporting their children.
