The Crescent Academy is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, registered under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. All donations made to The Crescent Academy are tax deductible.  As a non-profit, our goal is to simply break while serving our community.  Your donations enable us to do this.

We collect donations with two areas of fund application in mind:

  1. To offer financial aid to families who qualify.  To ensure fair distribution of financial funds, we collect income, family size and a need statement. This information helps determine if a family qualifies.  In 2023, our generous donors covered a $140K shortfall in revenue, choosing to invest in our children’s future instead of sending their donations elsewhere. Because of this support, we were able to transform each dollar of donation into greater impact—providing nearly $250K in financial aid to about 90 children.
  2. To improve the quality of our academic programs.  This includes investing in our facility.  In 2025, our generous donors shared $1.5M of their wealth to enable us to purchase a new building at 1112 Broad St., Endicott.  This new building broadly enhanced our academic, sports, young leadership and talent programs, while allowing us to serve 30% more (~90) children from under privileged families.  Future donations towards this cause will be used towards:
    1. Continue to bring the new facility into good repair condition:
      • Water heater and main repairs
      • Electrical upgrade
      • Flooring repairs
      • Parking lot repair
      • HVAC repairs
      • Science lab gas line restoration
    2. Setup a Daycare
    3. Kitchen startup to provide meals to children
    4. Expanded academic offerings (evening classes, youth leadership program and sports)
    5. Facility upgrades
      • Signage update
      • Security cameras
      • Projector & audio/visual updates
      • Prayer space update
      • Conf room upgrade
      • Speaker/bell announcement system upgrade
      • School bus
